How to (mostly) stop zappers

I've zapped many things, never gold.......

On occasion, I've been known to zap random bushes or trees during raids..... usually, this occurs when the bar staff have 'overserved' me, earlier in the evening....

I got zapped 6 out of my last 15 defenses every since I came to master, yeah, its wonderful (my th is inside too)

What I learned about zappers,

I would rather they zap my de, take my TH which is exposed than steamrolling my base with lvl 6 giants or balloons.

Zapping is typically less common the higher you go, I don't know why you think c2 is different. It still occurs in every league except maybe champs though

I'm now in C2 around 2200 trophies for quite some time now, and I'm still getting zapped sometimes!
Zapping shouldn't be just reduced, it should be stopped completely, as it ruins the main concept of the game, which is:

If you get attacked and loose too much resources, you habe to improve your base, so you won't loose that much resources!

This is the main concept behind the attacking of other players, but as you are COMPLETELY UNABLE to protect against zappers, this concept doesn't apply to zapping, which ruins the game!
It's always not about reducing zapping, but preventing the game from loosing it's deepest concept!

Nah... All players of the game are COMPLETELY UNABLE to protect themselves in any way, shape, or form from lightning spells PERIOD, regardless of what the spell is used on. Although I rarely even use lightning spells at all, I do like the spell and what it can be used for, up to and including zapping DE storages.

Trust me, I've lost several thousand DE in one day from several zappers (fortunately this is very rare that I get zapped, let alone 3 or more times in one day) and it was frustrating as all HELL, but it is what it is... It's a setback, just something all TH7+ people have to deal with.

I thoroughly hope they DO NOTHING to change the way it is now.

So, see some people don't care about zappers! Well I don't becuase I never get zapped, just made this thread to see what others think and maybe help the zapper victims along a bit. Never expected this many replies! Nice info guys, but I can see people are still complaining-why I made this thread. This thread was meant to help zapper victims, not for more to moan!

Getting up to masters league is a pretty sure way to stop the zappers, there's just so much DE lying around near the sides of bases that you don't need to waste lightning on any bases.
