MAX Elixer, what to do with it?

I am TH7 with nearly everything maxed. I have 4.001.000 elixer. I have nothing to spend it on since absolutely everything that costs elixer at TH7 has been payed for already.

My TH is upgrading and needs a little more than 7 days until TH8. I still have a lot of raiding to do in those 7 days for gold which I still need plenty for my walls.

The question is, what should I do with my elixer?

1. Just leave it be and save it up for TH8
2. Attack purely with dragons from now on (I never raid more than once in a row, so training time is of very little importance)
3. Put 1 storage outside my walls as an sort of HP buff...?

Whatever you want to do with it, just make sure its full, along with gold, when your TH 8 is finished. When I was in the same position as you I donated a lot of lvl 2 dragons to my clan while waiting for TH 8 to finish.

I would leave it there until you're TH8 for troop upgrades

Do goblin missions

I wouldn't recommend this, when you loot the goblins it never returns. Save it for when you can use it.

Don't do goblin missions, at least not the ones that give nice loot. It's much smarter to save those to TH 9 since loot is harder to come by there.

Do dragon raids, that's what I do.

My second account is a TH 7 that have been sitting on max elixir for ages. TH upgrade running now, think it's 6ish days left. He will soon be at max gold as well, one or two raids a day will put him way over the top, so I have no need for lots of raids, which makes 10-dragon raids the obvious answer. Revenges on TH 9's are especially sweet. Getting 329/329k gold and elixir and 1k DE from a TH 9 is, well, fun... I still have room for the DE

Just something I am wondering though, would 10 lvl 2 dragons suffice against a average TH 9? Or should I mix in some archers to destroy AD or should I use my lightning for that?

mix in wizards for it. Your clannies will love you till you get th8.

Depends on how developed the TH 9 is. 10 level 2 dragons can't take a really mature TH 9, but the slightly less mature kind with lower level AD's and far from maxed AT's is very doable. I use 3 lightning on an air defense (if the target have 4), since I will max the gold anyway.
