See these war bases all the time...how to attack properlyHey all,
I see these bases all the time in War and I still haven't figured out the best way to attack them. I use Mass Drags and I am TH8. I normally use 10 Lvl 3 Drags, a Lvl 3 in the castle and three rage.
Just wondering a rough strategy for starting this attack.

I call that a G-Wiz attack. Sometimes I leave out the healers.
At TH8 that would be 16 giants, 16 wizards and 4 healers. 128K Elixir. You should be able to 2 star easily and possibly 3 star. Don't deploy the healers too early and in the same spot. Use a heal spell if necessary until the AD are gone then the healers should be able to sustain the attack.
Another option is 24 giants and 20 wizards but bring spells. 130K Elixier
What I like about either of these orders of battle is that they are simple to use. The wizards can take care of any castle troops.
Every TH8 and below is easily 3 starred with level 3 dragons and a basic understanding of how to use them. Deploy one on each side you want to attack from to clear buildings on the sides so they don't get sidetracked on the outside of a base. Then drop the rest so they move into the center triggering the CC troops. Drop a heal spell or two and then rage and enjoy your 3 star glory.
