I have played 6 months, maxed th9 def's, worked walls last few weeks to get L8/9 walls. Figured time to go th10. I knew there was a loot penalty but not to degree it is... I typically raided about 4 mill gold a day from boosting barracks to buy upgrades... Now that I am th10, wow, whole diff world. You are forced to only attk th9/10 and need top troops and multiple spells to get anything. 50% penalty for attking a th8 is ridiculous. I may just quit. It will be near impossible to raise 6.5 mill gold for any further upgrades unless farming in bronze from collectors is ppl's suggestion for 1 upgrade a week. Supercell has made the game where th10s must pay for resources to play on that level. Every person i know w a th10 w L12 def's paid for them w gems, not raids. I'm 36 and in marketing, so no kid but I'm sure countless ppl will say... You can't have th10s going around and bulldozing low th's, but they are only saying that because they are a low th and don't want to get attked. That would apply for th7 but th8's have solid def to repel attks if base setup well. I think a 25% reduction is more appropriate, but 50% is not right. Thanks for making a fun hobby become completely disheartening. Congrats... That's my rant, thx for reading. I will enjoy laughing at the comments in response.
