Even if you know, the server will cap you for a certain loot per hour, depending on the overall loot that is being consumed/generated real time - server wide from all sources.
Hence, if you are an active farmer, the server will give you a lot less loot as you go over the cap than for someone who seldom farm who might never reached the cap

I totally agree. And to keep builders busy at high levels, you have to raid 5 times more gold/elixir than you mine. So for every successful player (who raids to keep their busy builders), there must be 4 unsuccessful players (who get raided and have all idle builders).
It makes no sense.
This thread cracks me up. Pelople who say loot is fine are totally clueless....3-4 days to fill storages? Before the December update 10-20 million gold (yes gold, not gold and elixir) per day was what a good farmer brought in.
loot sucks, anyone who says otherwise has no clue about how the game use to be. Its clear as day supercell has manipulated the system to increase gem sales. You can say that is their right because they are a corporation set up to make money, but to say loot is fine is beyond ridiculous.

Loot is terrible now, and better before, but the loot gain levels youre talking about here were not for ordinary mortals.
Top farming clans used to post avg 10m gold per day, and yes Lach, im sure you can make 30m worth of combined resources a day. The: 'without trying' bit though, i heavily dispute.
Those kinds of grabs are only available to the affectionately titled: no-lifers, of which some days i am myself. 10m combined isnt overly difficult, but does require a good chunk of game time. 30, is some serious barching.

30 attacks, granted, thats more than the average player, but I wouldnt call that no life. (however more than I would on an average day)
Thats 500K per attack.
180K from loot bonus, so only 300K per attack.
And when in champ, thats not exactly a rare thing to find. In fact, its rare to find less than 300k.

I wasnt knocking it, and no-life is an unpleasant term to bandy around, what im trying to say is that if people are trying to measure even active raiding on this loot, compared to 30+ attacks per day on old loot, its always going to seem worse than it is.
No, i dont class 30 atts in a day as no life, cos i regularly do it....but the wife sure as hell does.
Just trying to point out, that whenever an average to active player comes on here, and sees old timers saying pah! Cant make 10m a day anymore, or the incredibly active saying 30m WITHOUT TRYING (4 solid hours), then it further skews perceptions.

Fortunately there's nothing to debate in this thread. There's nothing to debate about the loot situation in general. We have to either (1) accept a slower rate of progression or (2) not raid anymore and just collect from mines/pumps/drills. Or (3) stop playing altogether.
Obviously we don't have all the data. They do, and they know what they're doing.
