Yes, a couple % sc♥♥♥♥ great. But, from watching def replays, the REALLY smart use of them is killing redundant witch skellies to stop them distracting heroes.
I got hit by a lot of hound attacks from QW, and they would always hold back a couple of minions along with the few barch. If needed to send the heroes after the TH, they would break wall, and send couple barbs in, to draw any skeletons out from any now dead witches, and possibly set off any skellie traps or giant bombs. Those 1 or 2 minions could then get rid of skeletons in complete safety, and not hinder heroes on their TH mission. Pretty damned smart.

Indeed. Experimented a little bit with this strategy and i think it is used like said before, to guide the king and queen to the centrum.

If lurable, I use a few barch to get them to a corner and drop a valk in the middle
