I don't think there is anything wrong with buying some gems. It' s just the same as buying a new game for a game console. Rather than spending time playing that you are spending time playing clash, so you can use the money you would have used to buy the game on some gems.

What I do have a problem with is what people spend the gems on. Builders are fine, boosting fine and finishing builders when loot is full is fine. I just get annoyed when people gem for resources. That totally ruins the point of the game and they are ridiculously expensive. These people then often go on to claim they are the best farmers and raiders in the game. When buying gems, don't ruin the game for yourself.

Nothing...... Probably why my base sucks ...lol..... But It's a game I play for fun and I doubt the fun would increase for me if spent my hard earned money on it. But I have friends who are as addicted to gemming as a crack addict... Lol

Better? How? For whom? Maybe it would make more sense if the subject remained the same throughout the sentence. Your $20 and "someone's" $20 isn't related (unless you're the someone, but why not make that explicit?). It would be arguably better for you to spend $20 per week on coc than $20 per day on cigarettes, but then it would be better to spend $20 per week on cigarettes than $20 per day on cigarettes as well. Someone would rather spend $20 every 7 days than $20 every day, period. What a strange post!

Ok, so I spend $20 a week... Not that hard to follow.
A pack a day smoker spends approximately $20 a day on cigarettes... Not that hard to follow.
Both I and the smoker have an addiction... Not that hard to follow.
Is it not better to have an addiction that does not cause health issues?
Whats so hard for you? I'm saying its better to put money into something you enjoy (that's not going to kill you).

I brought chest of gems 6 weekes ago. Cost me £70

Still got over half left. Use to boosted mainly and a couple times to complete a heroes build time.

Good night out in the UK and would spent twice that. with half the money now had really good fun farming with my barracks boosted. Money well spent in my eyes.

Spent on average in 6 weeks £5.60 the week.

Done my walls now so boost only a little now to DE farm for heroes.
