$70, though 10 of that was iTunes gift card. That's probably all I'll spend. Did what I wanted with the gems I bought and I still have a ton I can earn through achievements. I don't boost anything outside of the 1 gem boost specials, so I don't need a steady purchase stream to support my habit. I haven't even used all the gems I bought as I still have 3000 left, so I probably overbought.

It was worth it for me. I don't buy video games and I rarely golf anymore, so what's $60 for a game I play daily?

Yeah, you wasted 2000 dollars. And you never got anything out of it except terrible loot for the rest of your clash life. And it will take more than just "some" time.

And GrandmAstercody, you stated earlier that it's a waste of money to spend money on a free game. No it isn't. It's still neing paid on something someone enjoys. Just like your game comsoles. It doesn't matter if the original product is free, it doesn't make that fact anymre different that you're payig money to get enjoyment. And yes, the game is free. The game is clash of clans, are you paying to just play the game or are you paying for in game currency? Even if you pay you're just buying more stuf for it but the game itself is still free.

I used to buy gems when the game was fun but since the elixer for walls update I refuse to buy any.
