Lol, don't you read the stickies? 2000 gem reward for the most "positive" forum poster each month. Just in case their rather transparent loot squeeze wasn't insulting enough, now they think we can be bought off for the equivalent of $15. And the funny part is .... It looks like they were right!

I come here while I wait for the game to be playable. Browsing this forum is more fun than playing their game. Now, did I just insult their game, or just make a very "positive" comment about the forums?

Take a hint. If there's more rant threads then regular discussion, there is indeed a problem.

That is only partially true. People will always be more vocal about the things they dislike, than praising those they're happy with, which is understandable. This being said, I agree that the amount of complaints means that there's an issue to some extent but there's always been more rant threads than regular discussion and these rant threads often turn into regular discussion and that's how it should be IMO.

You are talking about two completely different things. Players who are not happy will not start acting nicer around here due to the prospect of winning 2000 gems. We do not choose winners based on their contributions to the loot talks - the forums are much more than that, even if not in your opinion. I would be more than happy to elect someone who is not happy with the current loot situation and makes that fact well known but engages in constructive dialogue with other players.

As much as I would like to see the significance of this thread, I simply cannot find it. Everyone will have different opinions and making a post that does not give a significant reason for someone to change their paradigm, as humans they simply will not.
