hope you do realise that if walls can be upgraded with no builders this would spell the end to raiding.
there would be no gold in storage so everyone is forced to look for abandoned bases with uncollected mines which will be raided once they have no shield/found
This will lead to another rant about releasing more loot supercell etc...

No. This is a bad idea. There would be less loot to steal, since everyone could just spend their remaining gold on walls, even if they had all their builders busy. Besides, it makes sense that upgrading is only possible with atleast one free builder.

Still not gonna happen. The majority isn't smart. Sure they want it, but I guarantee they don't want the end result.so majority still want it...
Loots bad enough as it is sometimes, so this is a very bad idea.
