in all fairness, it hasnt been ruled out, nor has supercell stated they dont have any plans of implementing this.
i like the idea, somewhat.
i think that if someone completely destroys a base, 3 stars it, that something should happen with the troops still left.
i dont know if they all come back with full health, maybe they come back with the health they had, maybe its 50% health. maybe only lower level troops come back. maybe you get some sort of elixer refund reward for the troops that did not die.
point is. IMO, something should be implemented towards the troops that did not die during a 3 star attack.
i can see the other point of view.
you spend the elixer for the troops to do a job, they do it. thats it. job over. buy new troops for new battle.

troops should not come back. It would change the raiding strategy too much. Everyone would use expensive overkill armies because it wouldn't cost anything.
If surviving troops were to return, but only made available to donate to your clan mates, would that be better? The ability to select which troop to keep and cap the qty according to your clan castle limit would be nice. It would encourage more sharing between members of the clan. Further limitations can be implemented if this idea skews the game too much (like only tier 1 troops are available, etc).
