On to TH9! ... or not?

Hello!
My in-game name is Adam and I'm a level 80 TH8.
I was wondering if I should leave TH8 and go to TH9 without maxing the walls (in this case, level 8), or max them before going.
My base is nearly maxed, only a few defenses and some barracks left to do. My lab is also almost maxed except for the dark troops.
My BK is level 7.
I already have around half of the walls level 8.
So, should I go to TH9 or stay and max the walls before going? Tell me your opinion, thanks!

Do you participate in Clan wars? If you do you might want to upgrade a few of the dark troops so you won't be lagging behind when you get up to TH9.

I am a Lvl 75 TH8 with all skulls farmed. I took about a week and dedicated that to my walls as well as my collectors (because they are dirt cheap to upgrade and I have been neglecting them). My walls are finished, they look super sweet and my collectors are lvl 9 and above. Even though there are great goodies at TH9 and 10, I am having a lot of fun playing around at TH8 and my goal is to max everything out and see if I can beat on some TH9s in clan wars. It will give me the opportunity to test myself before making the jump.

I'd say stay at TH8

Max and go up. You will be better than most of th9 you will see if you max as they mostly have lvl7 walls and even some have lvl6 walls.

I'm at L79 and nowhere near having my defences maxed. Are you sure that you did both upgrades on your archer towers and cannons? Currently I have a scull perimeter and barb king at L10. I don't know how we can be so close in levels, but so far apart on defense.

Like I said, my defenses are only nearly maxed. I already did all of my cannons and still have 2 ATs left to level 10, teslas to level 6, as well as all of my 3 ADs to level 6.
Also, I left the game for half a year, so I didn't know there was a new mortar. I'm upgrading it now.

I farm a lot. I do not like clan wars. I rarely do trophy pushes.

NOTE: Maxing was my plan. However, if I were to max my BK, does anyone have tips as to how to get a lot of DE while still continuously farming gold and elixir with a BAG army formation? Oh and also, does anyone know a good farming clan that doesn't war? I'll be glad to know, thanks.
