and happy Thanks giving to all. I would like your thoughts on whether or not to upgrade my town hall to TH 9
my walls are a combo of pink and purple. My mortars, and cannons are maxed out as well as my dark elixir drill
. My Tesla's are at level 4, wizard towers at level 5 air defense at level 5 Archer towers at level 8 and nine. Barb king at level pushing to level 5. My clan is called Champion World.

No, I am in the same situation as you. I won't go to TH9 until all defenses and walls are maxed. I am not concerned about maxing everything in the lab though.
Specifically, I wont be maxing all my DE troops. I will get my BK to level 10 though.

I've already maxed out all my walls for TH8 as a TH8 and it feels good maxing them out.
I've heard that TH9's loot are baaaaaaaaaad. Soooo. No.

Sounds like you are about half way through maxing TH8 (except walls where you are halfway through TH7). I would max all your defenses and preferably your walls (at least get them all to lvl7, but lvl8 would be better) before upgrading. Make sure your farming troops are done by then too.
Max your defenses (AD & Tesla are important) and walls to lvl 7/8.
While doing this you can upgrade your BK to lvl 10 and upgrade you units (for farming & clan wars).
If you haven't max your units, i suggest do so. Don't leave DE units (Golem, Minion, Hogs). Upgrading them take lot of time, but worth it. You will be very efficient in clan wars because you can use different army composition againts certain type of bases.
Not yet. If I were you, I'll max up all my buildings and also my walls to lvl 8. Loot at TH9 will be a lot tougher than the TH8 trust me.
Just upgrade TH, if you haven't got the stamina now to max a TH8 then you're not long for this game, we TH9s need more inactive TH9s to feed off, be a pal, do it now

Short answer: No.
Long answer: Depends. If you are purely a farmer (no warring), and have barb/arch at level 5, sure, go ahead. Make sure you go up with full storages, immediately purchase your AQ, and get level 6 barbs. You'll definitely be able to keep your builders busy.
If you war, you might as well stay at TH8. TH9 doesn't give you access to really any new troops for warring other than Giants level 6 (not really used ever), Balloons level 6 (awesome), and an extra level on Golem (I think?). At TH8, with maxed dragons, you can 3 star any TH8, period. So, since you're under leveled, you help in match making, but can still easily have the full offensive capability of a much higher level TH8. You are an asset.
At TH9, you have a really long way to go until you're capable of 3 starring even mediocre TH9s (dragons don't cut it anymore for anything but a 1 star or lucky 2 star). So, better off staying at TH8 for a while and getting your defenses up to level (in particular your Air Defense, Teslas, and Wizard towers).
