Stuff valks, they're greta but heroes are one off an ability dude.
As a huge fan of valks you better listen to me when i say get those heroes to 20! Valks are really fun and good troops but ya if youre that close to the next ability better do that first.

Agree with the others, being so close to the ability improvement I would upgrade valks after you get both heros to 20.

no way, think about it.. you have alllll the times of the world to complete/finish heroes upgrades

What if you don't use valks or hounds? Still upgrade them over heroes?
Upgraded heroes will help you in everything you do (farming and war), but the same cannot be said of upgraded valks.
Valks are second rate compared to maxed heroes! I maxed my valks a few months ago and now hardly ever use them. You'll use your heroes a lot more.
