You dont need to spend 10hrs online to get to masters... you could literally barch till 2200-2300... there are many th8s... once you reach this range you will start seeing a lot of TH10s with infernos... here you have 2 options...
you could still barch and aim for 50%... or you could pick the TH8s and TH9s to do balloonion and go for 50% and TH... boosting will make your life easier you get there quite soon... 2-3days max... like u look at loot when u farm just look at the trophies, take offers which are around abt 30...ignore the smaller offers of 5-20 trophies not worth it..
one very important point is dont go for the base even if you have a slightest hesitation...by any chance if you loose the battle you could be 20-30 trophies back and you will need to make 2 more attacks to just cover up this loss.... be patient when u search u will find a lot of easy bases
I confirm you can still barch (or BAM) higher than 2600.
i think adding some minions is great to get the few % you may miss in the end by aiming zones where there is no or few air defenses left.
Lightnings can also save a "close to 50%"
You can barch to 3600.
You could put your th in. Should get you to 2200 over night, give it another day or two and you should be close or above 2400. Then barch the rest, th snipe, whatever you gotta do its not that hard.
I was just going by his statement of him not being rushed. I mean i can do this easy with or without loot and my defenses are still like th 8 range (extra buildings same lvl of course) and purple walls. Storages out th in and count the trophies!
Recently pushed from Crystal III(2000) to masters III(2600) to get the gems and also see what it's like up there.
-TH9, all maxed defenses except one archer tower.
-Most traps upgraded.
-Walls purple crystal, skull and lego.
-lvl15 barb king, lvl13 archer queen
-maxed spells and troops for TH9(cept valk and healer)
I kept my gold and elixer low, because I was upgrading crystal walls to skull. I had a decent amount of DE to raid but that didn't matter much because EVERYONE 2400 up has a lot of DE to raid. Keeping resources low is very important not to get raided. Keep an eye on elixer though.
I kept my TH near the middle, but not completely(it is a farming base), so dedicated attacks will still easily take the TH.
I normally place my royals near middle, but they were mostly healing from battle so i would swap in archer towers into the center until they healed.
I used:
1 golem
6 giants (6 giants in CC)
8 wall breakers
9 wizards
37 barbs
34 archers
20 minions
Spells: 1 of each
I did one 2 hour barracks boost session, which propelled me around 150 trophies or so, but the rest was a grind. I would get trophies, lose trophies, slowly going up.
I would attack mostly TH9s, and some TH10s if they had infernos separated(so I wouldn't fight both at same time), bad base design, and the very very rare abandoned base. Of course I would snipe every TH that was outside(also very very rare).
95% of the bases above 2400 are TH10s, with 2 infernos. Raged giants can reliably take ONE out, keep this in mind. Two close together will smoke my army.
Always, always snipe undefended buildings in perimeter with archers, will help get the 50%. Probe attack side with barbs, a few minions for traps. Pull CC out first if possible.
Ok, for deployment:

wave of giants(CC)

wave of archers
2 wb
wave of wizards
2 wb
wave of minions
wave of barbs
2 wb

barb king, archer queen
this usually allows me to break into at least 1 layer of wall. If CC comes out, wait till they bunch up then lightening them! In a way, this is a zerg rush, but it does minimize the TIME defenses are shooting at me. Minions are also great to distract wiz towers, etc. from bunched land troops.
Then a jump spell will breach core or TH compartment, then HEAL to keep giants golem alive(they will be damaged pretty bad coming this far).
The RAGE when your troops pour into the middle. the royals should be right behind the tanks.
sometimes if storages are in compartments around core, your archer queen can get quite a bit of res too.
Now that I am in masters, I've switched to GOWIWI with 2 golem/6 giants because DE Is easy to get. Not sure yet if I like this environment to farm walls though. Still very tough for TH9.
Dont feel bad to hit NEXT while pushing. a disaster if you lose, set you back at least 2 attacks.

Just coming down from my first trip to masters. Took me about a week. I didn't rush to get there. I used loonion and played in 1 hour chunks. Attack for TH and 50% two times then log off. Sometimes I would even 3-star other TH9s. I would go up 20-25, then down 10 when my TH was sniped. Revenge is where to find exposed THs, they will be your easy trophies. Those helped a ton. Last 50 trophies I boosted barracks, spell factory, and heroes. Took me half hour to get last 50 trophies. I would not attack bases with infernos or xbows pointed up. Always attacked bases with at least 100K in elixir to fund my journey. Used two rages per attack.
