Lightbulb P.E.K.K.A.S. are MASSIVE! So WHY don't they have room for a brain?!

I have spent tens of millions of elixir and many weeks of waiting whilst trying to max out my P.E.K.K.A.s. To put it bluntly, I think were all a little disappointed with their performance on the field. They are too busy running around taking out your new skeleton traps (along with other defense troops) to destroy ANYTHING! They are slow and powerful I know, but they should at least have some FOCUS if they are going to be that slow. I'm extremely discouraged that the best troops your game offers have let me down time and time again (because once in a while they do what they are supposed to, so naturally you keep trying it). At this stage of the game, I shouldn't have to go into battle praying to the gods of CoC that my P.E.K.K.As will put forth what they are worth to make.

I beg you to fix them. Please, give them brains. All they need is brains.

    Sincerely,
-A loyal player who's tired of watching his P.E.K.K.A.s chase after skeletons.

which is why you need to practice with pekoes. if you've spent weeks upgrading pekkas, I'm sure a few more weeks of practice shouldn't be too hard, once you get them down, they rarely will stray off, unless theres cc troops or something, then your out of luck, but all of this is just practice

Practice doesn't predict where the P.E.K.K.A.'s will get side tract by the new skeleton traps. I have had many attempts at the almighty GoPeWi attack strategy and with a wide variety of results. This is about unpredictability with a strong, expensive, and untrustworthy troop.

I've never used Pekka's but i've used allot valkeries and they tend to do the same.

What somebody mentiond above you have to practise.

If you don't want your pekka to be stupid first of all Pull there CC out - kill them. Skel traps are unavoidable.

if you don't want them to run arround the outercircle destroying buildings make sure he's going in. Kill some outer defensives on the left and right and leave some in the middle - Then send ur troops in and they can only go 1 way really and thats in.

You'll get there, don't give up - pekka's are less stupid then its owner

If that power had amazing AI they would be overpowered.

Once you learn how they operate they are amazing units.

New to the forums. Pekka AI (attack anything) is similar to dragon AI which attacks any moving enemy troops as priority (CC troops, Heroes, and now Skeletons) I think is GREAT against Heroes but not 30 archers in a CC or these skeletons.

TH8 against another TH8, two LVL1 pekks got into the core and raged (sure 3-star at that point). Skeletons in the next compartment (wall is open) come out after the pekkas. The pekkas ignore the TH, come out (along with BK) to kill the skeletons, are now out of the core and in effect attacked a maxed elixir storage ignoring the core. Now, I probably give credit to the base designer on this one.

Another incident with my TH9 account. Two lvl 3 pekkas together in a funnel wrecking things. Level 6 Tesla pops up killing first pekka, 2nd pekka walks AROUND tesla to destroy builder hut on the other side..gets interested in something else other than the tesla and dies. This i don't really understand.

Both scenarios the difference between two and three star.

They have a brain. Most likely it is your opponent's base layout.
