Hey im a th 8 and I've just got done with a push.Im a max th 8 so i dont have anything to upgrade except for my teslas to 6 but,im also upgrading my th to 9 and need to max my storages so I'll be ready once my th upgrades.So my question is,where have you guys been getting good loot at?Any th 8 and 9's please dont be afraid to reply!-Sorry if i had any grammar or spellings errors :P i was doing this quick

I am a maxed out defenses town hall 9 and I farmed everything in gold 2 with the giant/healer strategy. I used 1 healer, 16 giants, 8 wall breakers, 40 goblins and 70 archers. I like this strategy because it has the muscle to get into the core of a base but it also has enough archers and goblins so that if a collector raid pops up you don't have to waste any healers, giants, or wall breakers.

i do suggest already staying in gold1-cryst3 in th9.. i do prioritize heroes in th9 and just do walls if there is an extra gold.
Our clan just finished a little idea clan gold grab comp.
Over 2 days our top performer was a th 8 who stayed strictly in g3. Making a massive 35 mill over 2 days.
I myself only managed a second with a piffling 24m
Being a new 9 myself I find that gold 3 is a bit too low, so I would purge trophies to 1700 then climb to about 2050 then repeat. I found that the loot was patchy so when I hit a good run at a certain trophy count I would hover there till it ran dry then repeat the search till I found a better spot for that time of day. Interesting to note I find certain cup counts consistently reliable at the same time of day. So often start my morning at the exact same spot...
Good luck with saving for nine... Be sure to arrive with full stores and a full cc of war loot.
