What level walls did you have when you upgraded to town hall 10 and do you regret not upgrading them more? Feel free to brag if you farmed lavas. Respect to you but there is no way I am doing that.

If you are planning to advance to TH 10, just make sure your defenses are as maxed as you can. It's been said, "your walls are only as good as your defenses behind them." That being said you also should answer the question, "how many maxed level 6 Wallbreakers will it take to bust through level 7, 8, and 9 walls? the answer is for all three-- 2 max Wallbreakers. You don't need that 3rd wallbreaker until you get to level 10 "lava walls"
for this reason I focussed on defenses, built my level 7 walls and never looked back. I since then have skipped level 8 walls all together and slowly built level 9 wall perimeter. This cost is 1.5 mil per wall. Lava is 3 mil respectively after that. The advantage to level 9 is simply higher hitpoints and slows a GoWiPe much more effectively. But any dedicated GoWIPe user will bring his wallbreakers along and if used correctly will have virtually the same impact on level 7, 8, or 9 walls.
So far I think I've done well enough to boast 20-30 defensive wins in masters consistantly for M3, M2, and M1 currently, and am glad I spent my hard earned Gold on the defenses needed to combat max GoWiPe, Max balloonian, Drag with lava hound raids, etc. surely looking back there is no way I would defend any air attack in masters if I had not focussed on defenses, and gave this wall thing a good look.

I feel like the minimum you need will be skull walls, but having legos will definitely help as chances are that you will not be doing too many walls with fancy infernos and bows to save up for! :P

People who could save 3 mill of each resource daily should stay and grind it out. That is 2 walls a day ( lava) and will get there soon enough. I personally farmed all my lavas and began th10 before my defenses were done due to my rate of farming. my loot would just pile up and i have been able to pound out some zaps.


for a casual farmer i think they should set a goal. After maxing defenses and having a billion loot left to put in walls, just set a goal. Maybe all skulls or all Legos and if super dedicated yea stay a long ti2me for lavas it is easier farming but could suck the fun out of the game not using builders and nothing upgrading.


It is really up to you. No matter what either have:

• Defenses done
• lab done
• walls done
• heroes done
