I finally gave up on my old clan and joined a new one but when i joined the new clan i stopped getting the message counter. does anyone know why or how to fix this and get it back?

I have tried restarting the game and my device with no luck. I do play on my iPhone and iPad...the iPhone seems to get them still the iPad doesn't.

I had a similar issue. Before I got around to getting it fixed, my iPhone screen broke and the Apple Store replaced my phone since it was a software issue, and when I redownloaded the game, my notifications for chat came back.
As for your situation, try doing things such as leaving and rejoining the clan, restarting your device, etc.

Wow so you are thinking something went wrong when i joined the clan? Wonder why my iPhone gets them still?
I can't try that yet we just started war. hopefully i don't have to leave i can just live without em i guess.
Just leave and join again that clan
