War Matchmaking - It's working great!

When my clan and went through our first 20 wars or so, I thought matchmaking was broken. We always got matched up against higher TH lvs and had an up hill battle every war. "We are always unlucky!", This is not fair!" I cried.

However now that we are more experienced and became better attackers, we realized there is a reason for this. We are now having a very easy time winning wars when we are at a TH disadvantage. Why? Because if we are at an TH disadvantage, the majority of enemy bases are premie. We are able to put 3 stars on all the premie bases left right center. Easy win every time.

Now it has gone full circle, when we see an evenly matched up TH war, then we know it might be a tough war. Since that must mean they also have good bases and know what they are doing.

Very rarely do we get matched up against a clan who legitimately out level us. In the case that they out level us at the top, then we out level them at the bottom and vice-versa. If they have better defense, then we have better troop levels. We can squeeze out an edge where we have the advantage.

Match making is not as bad as some people make it out to be. For us at least, it is working great.

My clan has a war once a week, and for the last 6 or 7 times we had been getting opponents that seemed to over-power us. We had several TH6 in our clan and our opponents had nothing below TH7. On the higher end, they would usually have more TH10s than us as well. High TH doesn't mean good defense, but they do tend to correlate.

However we just started preparation for a war and it seems even or maybe in our favor, which is a nice change.

At where we are, the biggest factor tends to be whether or not people remember/have time to participate in the war.

I think something changed in the match making system on the server side (My Opinion) because the last 4 or 5 wars have been fairly matched. We had very balanced wars in terms of th levels and defenses. We have lost a war and won the rest but in general it is becoming better. Wish to see some posts from SuperCell staff to confirm the change or deny it

It's been a long time since my clan went to war, but we decided to retry yesterday, and yes it seems fair.

I guess we will loose again, but that's another story...

I always get match up with some foreign team mostly pinoy no matter what time of day i do the war.

Another thing I have noticed is, a while ago when we were a TH7/8 clan, war search usually takes under 10 minutes. Now as a TH8/9/10 clan, war search takes 15-30 minutes. Not sure if SC increased the match making window since then, or nothing has changed and it just takes longer to search at higher TH lvs.

Another thing I have noticed is, a while ago when we were a TH7/8 clan, war search usually takes under 10 minutes. Now as a TH8/9/10 clan, war search takes 15-30 minutes. Same here, it took sometimes 5 minutes max. Now sometimes up to 40 minutes and we war always so when it gets late we make the on the next day

Even a premmie th10 can have th10 only troops ie. lvl5 PEKKAs, lvl4 drags and so on.

I´m from DesCoC, it´s a great clan, but none of us have Lvl 40 heros. Last week we were matched with Persian Gulf, top 46 of the world. Only a fair match every 2-3 wars for us.
