This idea seems great! It's definetly easy to implement and to balance into the game since you thought it out pretty well.

I like this idea, I hope to see this implemented into the game!

i bet u r th9. I think it should be to th10. Also, the troop will be released just in that th, follow the logic: th7- minnions and hogs. th8- valkyries and golens. th9- witches and lava hounds. th10- two new troops. If they don't release th11, the 9th and 10th units go to th10, fat chance to the 7th troop go to th9. If they release th11, 9th and 10th goes to it.

    Exclamation

One problem: We already have a troop for walls.

How about instead of doing double damage to walls, he shoots his slime on the building and it does continuous damage, with additional "blobs" of slime doing more and more damage.

    E.G:

    1 blob= 3 dps

So if he shoots 3 blobs, they together do 9dps.

The trick is to use him like a wizard, behind your tanks. If you could get him behind your golems shooting at the th, he would be devastating, because at some point his blobs, which keep increasing as he shoots more over time, cause 90 dps. He should also have a slower speed.

Now, what sets (or will set) him apart from a wizard, is that his damage increases over time, as mentioned in the above paragraph The wizard would be a better use for taking out low health economy buildings, but for high hp buildings such as the th and storages, you would use the Acidite.

A good farming strategy would be giants and acidites, as the giants make a human wall, leaving the acidites open to "melt" the storages.

Clannis, if you found these ideas nice, put them in the OP.

Brilliant idea, but the acid part where you lose 8 HP per second on the Acidite Tower would be a bit OP.

This sounds interesting, maybe it could have a multiplier just like a single beam inferno.
The longer it shoots at a single target the more damage it does, sounds plausible.

I'll look into this and other suggestions soon.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

New features and changes are made in the OP:

    • The movement speed of the Acidite has been changed from 16 to 14.
    • The Acidites damage has been reduced and special perks have been changed, such as double damage to walls. Instead the acid blobs of the Acidite now does additional damage which stacks, much like a inferno beam but with different mathematics.
    • The Acidite Towers acid pools and the Waste Barrels acid puddle damage is reduced to 6 damage per second instead of 8.

Its a good idea, and it has unique mechanics too. The only problem I noticed is that acidites attack defences, which just isnt right. (Wizards dont, why should acidites) Otherwise, its great.
