All Acid | A Hazardous Concept
Clearly I liked the idea of 'connorjdatatktg' so I decided to start my own thread to build this 'acid' concept even further, I have altered some of his ideas in the process. At the bottom of this post I've included his original post.
Prices, Availability And Building time
The Dark Barracks Level 7 will be available at town hall level 9 at a cost of 4,250,000 Elixir and a building time of 10 days.
The Acidite Tower will be available at town hall level 9 at a cost of a 2,280,000 Gold and a building time of 3 days. There will be 2 towers available both unlocked at town hall level 9.
The Waste Barrel Trap will be aivailable at town hall level 9 at a cost of 24,000 Gold and an instant build. There will be 2 barrels available both unlocked at town hall level 9.
The Acidite will be unlocked at the Dark Barracks level 7 with an initial cost of 50 Dark Elixir, a Housing space of 4 and a building time of 8 minutes.

- The Acidite shoots blobs of acid towards its target.
- The acid blobs the Acidite shoots do additional acid damage, every hit does 10% of the base damage x 1.25 which stacks. i.e. a level 1 Acidite first hits its target with a base damage of 66, the first Acid blob does an additional 8.25 acid damage (6.6 x 1.25). The second blob does an additional 10.31 acid damage (8.25 x 1.25). The third blob does an additional 12.89 acid damage (10.31 x 1.25), and so on. The higher level the higher the Acidites base damage so the faster the additional acid damage climbs up.
- The acid blobs only do additional damage to buildings, not to moving targets (Heroes & Troops) as they simply shake off the acid while moving before it starts doing corrosive damage.
- The Acidite prefers to attack defenses.
- The Acidite does less base damage but has more health then Wizards.
- Due to the fact that the Acidite has more health he could survive an explosion of a maxed Giant Bomb.

- The Acidite Tower shoots blobs of acid towards its target.
- The Acidite Towers acid blobs slows their targets movement speed by 30% for 3 seconds.
- As the Acidite Tower only encounters moving targets the additional acid damage is irrelevant (see the Acidite troop acid damage).
- An Acidite Tower does less damage but has more health then a Wizard Tower.
- Because the Acidite Tower is surrounded by a pool of acid melee attackers take an additional 6 damage per second when they attack the Tower.

- The Waste Barrel Trap deals an amount of damage over 3 seconds
- When the Waste Barrel Trap explodes it leaves a puddle of acid on the ground which stays there until the Waste Barrel Trap is re-armed.
- If not re-armed the acid puddle stays in future attacks, but the puddle will be visible to the attackers.
- ALL Troops that stand or walk through the acid puddle are dealt 6 damage per second and are slowed by 30% for 3 seconds.

- The movement speed of the Acidite has been changed from 16 to 14.
- The Acidites damage has been reduced and special perks have been changed, such as double damage to walls. Instead the acid blobs of the Acidite now does additional damage which stacks, much like a inferno beam but with different mathematics.
- The Acidite Towers acid pools and the Waste Barrels acid puddle damage is reduced to 6 damage per second instead of 8.

Here is an impression of how the appearance of the Acidite 'could' change when leveling up.
Just like the original wizard its robe changes color. The mask the Acidite wears (yes it's a mask, it's not his actual face that is showing.) changes color / material as well.
- Level 1 - 2 Acidites wear a wooden mask and a lightbrown color robe.
- Level 3 - 4 Acidites wear a stone / charcoal mask and a dark red robe which is slighlty teared.
- Level 5 Acidites wear a bone mask and a dark green colored robe which is pretty torn up, their beardcolor also changes to white.

You've clearly put a lot of time into this idea. If Supercell uses their own methods to see if it's balanced and adjust it, I'd love to see how people use this. I hope we see something like it one day...
