    bottom line....everyone complaining uses lightning spells to do all of the above. They do what they are designed to do. Should they nerf the heal spell because it heals too good? Oh wait.....you like that one because you use it on attacks, yet the inferno tower is the only defense against it. If you have used a lightning spell to take out an air d, wiz tower, mortar, arch tower, cannon, cc troops or a last second TH blast....then please......SHUT UP. You have no right to complain, it made your raid easier as you used the spell as designed. There was no defense against the spell in those instances either. So what, you lost some DE, it makes you mad. Makes me mad too, but I get revenge....that is why there is a revenge button. If they LS your DE on a revenge....take your lumps and move on. They lose trophy's and get no win bonus...that is the punishment. If someone is doing this in Master or Champ league and they are LVL 100+ then they are a sissy and have no business at that league level. It just is not cost effective. They should have 2 or 3 max DE drills at that point, LS DE becomes useless and a waste of elixir for spells.

    So what you are telling me, when I am doing a raid and lure out all cc troops and get them over a mortar then drop two lightning spells and take out mortar and cc troops in one shot that I am not using the spell in a fair way? Get over it please, move on.
    In his defense, using the lighting spell to take out an air defense, mortar, wizard tower or whatever is using it tactically. Lightning spelling DE is just being a jerk. Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking to make the DE storage invincible or making it harder to take away or blah blah. But, something along the lines of maybe a new type of defense that could counter that would be kinda cool. Maybe a slightly visible bubble that could be placed in a selected area to prevent spell damage inside of it. That would be kinda sweet. Maybe the size of the jump spell where it is just big enough to fit nicely over one whole structure.

    This is exactly what i logged on to post. I had this idea the other day and happened to see this on here. This is a perfect idea. I am level 100 and i know how annoying those people who hit your dark elixir storage with lightning are. They take a thousand or more sometimes from my level 5 storage. They are not even working for it and it should have a possibility to be stopped. When i was working for my barbarian king 35 levels ago, I certainly didnt just hit people with lightning. Not very fair for it to happen to me now, should have a prevention. Lightning rod or even using the teslas like i thought of is a perfect idea.

    I certainly do. Now let me ask you: Have you ever used lit spells to take out a mortar or cc and then did NOTHING else and ended the battle? Nope. Every example you gave (or could give) is pointless because it requires (requires!) an army along with it to accomplish anything.

    If the same was true for zapping I wouldn't be complaining about it. But it's not. You can defend against the army being deployed after all of your other "examples". You CANNOT defend against zapping.

    See the difference?

    Dropping troops is irrelevant.

    FYI, it's not all that difficult to drop lightning on clan troops while they're standing by or running across the DE storage.

    So now I just killed your clan troops and zapped your dark elixir with dropping just a few troops and making zero attempt at attacking your defenses.

    Or if your defenses are next to the dark elixir storage and it's filled, I can still get a good amount of DE from the splash damage without dropping a single troop. So now I just dropped lightning on your defenses and left, something you claim could never happen.

    lol soooooo if i dropped troops to snipe you, or win the 50% after a zap you're fine with it?

    Zappin is tactical. You're using a spell on the game to gather more of a rare resource easy. Who cares if you're a jerk in war? This game is war between all players. Call me a jerk all you want but I'll just keep zapping. Call me a coward but you're the one who lost the dark and I gained it without giving you a shield. Anyway to get an advantage over your opponent like this is a tactic.
