Back to the OP, congratulations. That's a big step. However, you shouldn't hold off on defenses to work on walls. Preferably, try doing both at once, but if you can't do both at the same time, focus on defenses first as they give a greater boost to defense.

Thank you so Much! The reason I stalled defences was I have only 2 builders, and all loot I farmed would go into walls so I had to upgread traps and collectors with the other builder

Yes, loot threads get hundreds of pages because it's a huge problem every clasher faces. Obviously more people are going to care about the loot in the game; it's common sense. At the same time, most threads don't even reach page two as they're usually buried quickly.

Those wall threads are made because a person is proud of their accomplishment as it took a lot of time investment. It was a goal that they reached. People who are striving to get similar wall levels actually appreciate those threads because it motivates them to also farm those walls. It shows that it can be done. I for sure know that looking at a community member with impressive walls motivates the hell out of me to keep farming.

Once again, you're missing the point. Like previously mentioned, just because you don't care about something, doesn't mean that others don't. Everyone's opinion matters, not just yours. That's truly an elitist attitude you're fostering.m

Another example: A thread about a TH7 dark elixir farming guide. Or an ideal th7 clan wars composition. As a th9, I couldn't care less about such a thread. However, other community members who are TH7 or approaching might appreciate such a thread. It doesn't matter if it doesn't apply to me or only affects the minority of the community. If certain people appreciate it, then the thread wasn't a waste.

Btw, yes I care more abut the woman who gave me birth and raised me than a girl who's not even with my wife yet. I'm sure she would understand that.
