I hate pushing. The one aspect of the game you can't do casually.

I think you just need to adjust your tactics a little. I am sitting at ~2800 and using it to do walls because even though it takes a few hours to do a full GOWIPE or something like that, I usually get 350k of gold and elixir and 2-3k of DE. I pick bases that have resources that are high and obtainable whilst going for the TH. That way you get trophies and loot.

Yes you will ♥♥♥♥ up the occasional raid but I have been steadily gaining trophies and only lose some when attacked well or I go a little too keenly for the loot and forget the fact I need to get 50% or the TH.

I liked pushing before I made it to champs, then after that...I realized how stressful it really was and decided to just hang around masters 3. Way more enjoyable and now i just focus on maxing my heroes and walls with the occasional clan war.

Its funny, I recently finished a push and got up to just shy of 3400 trophies. While pushing I found it to be a very stressful, high pressure experience in spite of the fact that my base was about .500 on defense.

However, once the official push ended I decided to see if farming up here was viable for me. To my surprise once I started focusing on loot rather than trophies as my primary goal the pressure all went away and winning battles became so much easier and the loot started piling up in my storages again.

Still not sure if I like staying up here long term but in my experience it is the pressure and expectation we impose on ourselves that makes trophy pushing such a grind. Just relax and have fun with it and you will enjoy it much more.

Very well put, can't believe I missed this out in my post.

    Couldn't agree more.

I'm not sure that I agree with you. At champions I was winning on defence about 50% of the time, and if I put my town hall out id get sniped for 1-5 trophies.

One loss is 17-20 trophies. One star is 8-9 trophies. So three raids will always bring you back above your loss. (For low champ league)

Getting to champs is almost insultingly easy nowadays. There are huge amounts of rubbish bases to pick on.

With any army all it takes is practice. You will struggle for a while and then it will click and you will find you win virtually every attack.

It does get extremely boring though.

I tell this to anyone who is struggling to push ( ie. My missus ).

All it takes is that one raid where, as you said, it just clicks. Then BOOM, you got it!

I push/farm. When I used to just push, it really stressed me out. After a loss, I would boost racks, heroes, and spells, and then try to make it up quickly, which usually resulted in me losing 5 more raids.

But I noticed how much loot was just filling up in storages, much more than barching in Crystal or lower.

I recently returned to masters on one of my accounts, with dual max infernos. I can protect my loot and farm and push. I only lose when I attack when I am tired, but I don't stress it.

I do want to get up to champs, but just to farm, lol. I have no desire to hit high champs.

    i'm farming right now @ 3600 but i pushed to 3673 with archers/golem.
it's very easy once u learned how to attack with this army comp.

    180 archers
    2 golems
    cc full of archers
    both heroes
    5 lightning spells

destroy 2 mortars - place the golems near to the xbow on each side (or heroes if they're close to outside of the base) and then place all archers around the base.
if the cc is walking out just wait a little moment till they attack your golem and then destroy'em with your last lightning spell. place your heroes and ur already @50%

excuse my bad english - a turkish guy who lives in germany, lol.
