Have you seen the new loading screen and logo for Clash??? It is for (Product)Red, a charitable organization who fights AIDS, Tyberculosis, and Malaria, three deadly diseases. Clash, as well as 24 other popular games are participating in this event. It is only for iOS, as Apple is the one that teamed up with RED in the first place. Google does not have this special update. The event lasts until December 8th, and all proceeds go to RED. Supercell is only donating one of the In App Purchases: The Pile Of Gems. Same price, same gems. But you have the choice of a shield on your Town Hall that shows that you have helped the cause. Of course, you can choose no as well, or just buy the regular Pile Of Gems, which is still there in the Shop.
The update itself is optional, but you will not have this new loading screen or the ability to donate your Pile Of Gems purchase. It is normal Clash. Here is the loading screen:
