What I am about to reveal to you is a secret, not a (s)haq, but something that I haven't bothered bringing up because I was hoping that somebody would use it to counter an argument. Since nobody has brought it up I figured I might as well do it on a Saturday night (Sunday for some of you).

People have been fighting the league shields because they want their ego back.

What many of them have failed to do is realize something very very very key to the shields. Something that the league shields tell you that you would have never thought of.

I probably shouldn't bestow you all with this blessed knowledge, but since I kinda like SOME of you farmers out there, I'll go ahead and reveal it here.

League shields tell you EXACTLY where the resources are.

1. If you don't see a league shield and just see that grayed out shield that means the resources are in the GOLD MINES and ELIXIR COLLECTORS. If you come across a base with no league shield, go farm the gold mines and elixir collectors. Don't bother with the storage tanks.

2. If you DO see a league shield, like my pretty crystal shield, then that means the resources are IN THE STORAGE TANKS. So, don't bother wasting your time going for the mines and collectors. Try and get to those tanks.

There you go. The diamond in the rough.

The league system inadvertently (or perhaps intentionally?) tells farmers EXACTLY where to aim when farming.

While it is nice that you tell everyone this,(cuz some people might not of thought of it) it's pretty obvious. Actually it's extremely obvious. There is really no need to make a thread about. And you sound like you are boasting that you are the only one who knows about this... Everyone knows dude. Some people might not of thought of this before hand but once they are in the situation where they see the no Sheid base then they instantly realize that it's inactive. Simple as that. Errr no! But nice try. The league badge tells if the player has attacked in the current tournament. You still need to look at the graphics. It is possible for a player to log on and collect resources from pumps and mines without attacking.

Hmm, can you give me a percentage? It would be fairly low, like very low. One who logs in, collects from mines and leaves.. This is VERY rare.

Yes,

There will always be minor outliers to my method. But, in general, it is a quick and easy way to assess your prey. You can swoop in like a hawk and take what is theirs in a minute instead of wasting energy assessing other variables.

Here is a demonstration of this method in action:

*As you can see this is a prey that I came across using the random attack method.
*This is not a revenge so I cannot pre-plan my assault on their base.

1) No league shield, a minor amount of loot (but hey free is free), and
there are 20 seconds left in the timer for me to decide (but I've already decided because there is no shield and all of the collectors are outside so I know it is gonna be easy money honey sugar)



2) This is my prey after I've have finished my assault on their e-town. You'll notice I made absolutely no effort going for the storage in the center. I just focused on the collectors. Oh look! All of that precious gold and elixir is gone baby gone.

I have a minute and 59 seconds left. Should I make the replay longer or log out? Should I give them a free shield or move on?



Forget all that I'm going to move on to my next victim.

And that increases the effiency of farming too, use least amount of troops to get the maximum amount of loot. Very well done

If the total drops a lot, then empty all the mines. If it doesn't, you have your answer. As trophies are irrelevant if loot is your goal, it simply doesn't matter whether the player has a full or grey badge. It worked perfectly fine before the league system. Noticing (or caring) about the badge has not changed anything.
