Pushing to masters th9 whar base should i use?

I'm pushing to masters and am currently rocking a troll base and at 2200 crystal 2. I'm a Mid Town hall 9. Is there any base that you recommend which will win me defenses or at least keep me from getting raped. If you want to see my current base I'm in the clan: Reddit Infinity. My IGN is: The Epic VK.

On my first trip above 2650 as a newish th9, I used a pretty strong base with no name, dumping all my gold into walls (pre exilir for walls upgrade). I defeated max GoWiWi a few times. I even sat in m2 with 175k dark without getting raided.

However, in later trips to m2, I got slaughtered, especially if had had any gold. I finally just put my townhall in the corner.

Now as a new th10 with max infernos, I have won 6 defenses in master and just lost 2 defenses in the last 8. So much better, lol.

So, the TL;DR version- don't keep gold and prepare to get raided. Base doesn't matter much.
