To anyone who's ever used a troll base which is basically a base where the town hall is protected by so many defenses but appears open so attackers try and take the town hall but fail...I heard you can get to crystal without attacking just solely by these raiders failing is this true..crystal 1 I mean

Yes, it's true. Especially with decently upgraded teslas. I've seen a number of people do it
My TH 7 Troll base was getting 31 to 99 trophies a night (and the replays were funny to watch). I only stopped using it because I was done farming walls. Just made my TH 8 into a troll base and for the past 2 days I've woken up to more trophies (but I also have it Gold 2 while I was farming elixir, going back up to farm DE now)

With max tesla sure.
None of these lvl 1 tesla traps makes it far lol.

YESSSSS... I made 3 different ones and for all of them most of the raids on my base (@c2 & below) were unsuccessful. Some tips are to put teslas directly on top of the deploy area so it adds more tank and huge huge dps. CC and bk / aq should be on outer ring to apply more dps in the center, WTs and mortars need to be in range of deploy area, those defenses are key to winning defenses with a troll base. Skele traps just add more overkill.
This only works on people who aren't careful. You won't catch me trying to snipe your Town Hall. I've learned my lesson.
