Thread: Town Hall 9 Barch: Why even bother upgrading to level 6??? Please Comment!

    I hit th9 with both accounts within a few weeks apart. On the first account, I did not upgrade barch early, instead doing giants and loons. My second account is my less active account. I only had the pink for barbs, so I did that first.

    Wow, that was a noticeable difference. I did archers next and suddenly barching was easier. I kept wondering why barching was harder on my more active account, but then I remembered the different troop levels.

    I then did archers on first account, but it was still substantially weaker.

    So, based upon my side by side experience, playing level 6 vs level 5 barch, it is a huge difference. You will only regret not doing it sooner.

    Also, you may think "only 2 added damage" is not worth the upgrade, but when you multiply 2 x 220 troops, that's 440 extra damage every second. Multiply THAT by the 3min attack time you have and it's 79,200 more damage than with L5 archers...kind of significant.

    It might be significant, if it was true ..... the fact is, they do not survie a lvl6 mortar....

    I agree in general though ..... better is better - even if only a bit better....

    Multiply that by the number of days in a week and that makes TRILLION MORE DMG!!! See I can fail at math logic also

    Wow, you didn't upgrade your barch when you barch? That's just silly. You've invested all your resources into troops you don't use.

    I don't even notice the incremental cost, but do notice the slightly better damange and survivability. If you barch for several hours a day (it's mindless, so it's not hard to do) you should notice no significant difference in cost.

    The 2dps archer may not seem different as one troop. But imagine 100. That's like 200 extra DPS!

    Does iron fist have any bearing... do higher level barbs do a heck of lot more damage under rage? - worth considering........
