Thread: New idea for zapping defense (this is different, trust me)

    I wasn't really saying anything about the pro-zapping crowd. It was just something that struck me while I was typing the response. If something is supposed to be irritating, and people complain about it . . . it is working!!! Every complaint would be incentive to leave it alone. If there was silence . . . perhaps lightning spells would be buffed so they could do MOAR damage. By that logic all of the complaining is at least ensuring that lightning spells don't get buffed. Imagine the horror that stronger lightning spells would cause. Riots, looting, burning cop cars in the street. All forms of chaos. Which is a shame because as much as I hate getting zapped, lightning spells sure are useless. They could use a tweak to make them useful again.

    I don't agree with you on this, treebranchtwig. I think the idea is very good, and something can be changed about zapping.

    Not unless SC wants to change it, and they have stated that they don't.

    It would be good for TH7 and all dragon raid's since you couldn't zap the 2 air defenses that are beside the TH. It would be a major game changer.

    Yep, yet another trickle down effect from nerfing lightning. Protecting DE means squat in clan wars, so why not use it to protect ADs?

    Dragons are already useless beyond TH8. Now they'd be useless for everyone.

    This again speaks to how little anti-zappers consider the effects of nerfing lightning. They are only concerned with the little DE they lose and don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about how this change would impact lower THs and thus, the game as a whole.

    Lol I know. Just adding a few laughs. If they did buff the lit spells wouldn't infernos be subject to their wrath then? Because if I'm not mistaken, they have enough hp at max level to withstand five level 4 lit spells. Any more damage and you could take the same amout of spells and probably cripple the defenses by taking one IT an sacking the second one

    I can imagine the new complaint threads...

    "What the hell?? Inferno towers need damage reduction from lightning!!! I didn't spend all this time and/or money to get the best defense in the just so some stinkin' noob could destroy it before dropping his troops!!! This needs to be fixed immediately Supercell or I swear I'm quitting!!!"
