Discussion might be prohibited, but so should delusionists. 2 or 3 barbs near a suspected giant bomb, thats a keen eye, or previous experience of the layout. 1 directly on top of the bomb, giant/loon combos on top of outside teslas, the exact required amount and placement of hogs to get to a buried cc, taking out at least 1 defence on the way and still surviving JUST long enough to draw every troop......
These are all things that come from experience, granted. Experience of attacking YOUR war base. Over, and over, and over again.

Yeah, because everyone copies bases down to the exact trap placements
Sure some might complain that obvious exposed bombs or well known layouts are being picked off, but they are a minority. Most tinker with their trap and defense placements constantly to try and catch attackers out.
I've heard all the excuses and arguments, the fact is that the use of you know what is absolutely rampant in the game.
The 'geniuses' who can calculate every variable and use just the right amount of troops in every scenario should be up in arms about this as well, suspicion will impact them as well.

Yes there are some very common base designs that have been posted online and used extensively by other players and in these trap placement is not difficult to work out, I totally agree with you on this.
Problem is I am not using one of these designs! I design my own bases and am in part a defensive player my current design took me from 3800-3950 overnight a day ago on defence wins alone! A huge reason for this is intelligent placement of traps and this advantage is completely lost in clan wars. My base goes from winning defences, mainly 1 star losses and clutch 2 star losses in normal matchmaking to being 2/3 starred every time with traps either triggered by low space units or traps are completely avoided!
If you are still reading this thread xSYNC, i advise you watch the replays of the 3* wins in ice ice baby's historic FIRST WAR LOSS! (This should tell you something already).
Watch the heroes very very closely, with reference to your 'well buried' traps.
You will see the heroes abilities being activated a split-second before skeleton traps are triggered. Not split second AFTER, as a quick thinking raider would do, and still have the heroes bashing away at the skellies with the assistance of spawned units. Before. So the skeletons target the spawned units and not the heroes themselves.
Rather than defend dishonesty by virtue of ignorance, there is some enlightening research for you.

That type of stuff is fair game. But OP was referring to situations where things are not online bases and there's multiple spots for giant bombs and a hog snifs out the exact spots and say a loon gets placed on a Tesla exactly before it shows up ect. There's a lot of people who ♥♥♥♥♥ don't act like ghoasting doesn't happen.
