Fair Clan War!!!!

So the clan I am in is coming towards the end of a war with another fairly well known clan with most of us having well levelled townhall 10 bases

I have to say this has been one of the best wars I have been involved in the matchmaking was pretty much spot on in terms of matching us with a clan of about the same ability and so far the results seem to suggest the same as we are neck and neck with 6 hours left to go.

More encouragingly there doesn't appear to have been any funny business going on in this war unlike so many of the previous wars I have been involved in often against well known/famous clans who I had previously respected and admired!

My clan takes a very tough stance against people using unfair methods and doing so results in being kicked and banned from the clan. It is reassuring then to see another clan that seems to have a similar ethos and approach to the game. A very nice touch which was much appreciated in our clan was the clan description of our opponent which wished us luck in the up coming war!

It has got me thinking though this is what clan wars should be all about a fair fight with mutual respect between the two clans involved! It is a sad state of affairs that so many clans seem so obsessed about adding that one extra digit to their war wins total or having a perfect record that they resort to underhand and dishonest methods to achieve this!

Well when you watch an attack on a virgin base and every trap is triggered perfectly by a single barb placed perfectly on top if the trap it does make you think!

that just means the base is not good enough, the best base won't lose just because of spy.

eye modders are very, very easy to spot, with plenty of the more well known clans indulging heavily in such tactics.

Knowing where traps are help a lot, if it didnt then we would just be able to tell where they are when raiding like normal defences.

Also to the OP, just because they are not activating traps it doesnt mean they are not using bunnies. You have to remember that its not detectable and it has more uses than just activating traps. But having a tight war is fun cant disagree with that

Learn up more bases designs. I've seen alot on YouTube and here.

I could just trigger most of your traps if it's outside with a few troops by using some sense.

Understand how bases work and my CW base traps are obvious but it's hard to trigger them cuz it's deep :3

Plus never accept any outside players while having war except you/someone in your clan knows him.
