Nearly full storages rarely ever taken always get TH sniped
Don't you guys know that according to a few, there's no loot out there? Stop getting loot and upgrading your walls! Just stop it! Lol, just kidding. I use barch troops too, but I add a few giants and wizards to the mix because I have enough elixer where I don't feel the impact. Helps a lot in getting to the storages...where there isn't any loot either. Staying mostly in G2/3 at the moment. May try crystal in a little while because some people are saying that there's no loot there either.
As TH9 I was farming in G1 - G2 with barch + some giants + 6 WB. Newer actually focused on walls but finished with 220 legos. Now as TH10 I'm in C2, same army. The is less gold and lux (as I can't farm on those nice an easy TH8 any more) but the is plenty of DE.

I use giant wb gob barch in c1. If i have full de/more than king upgrade i add 2 witches
Not the most efficient gold farming strategy but its fun.
