It is called farming, it happens. To get loot you pick off those below you, it wont change.

There are a lot of things to consider, but you sould play in sessions. Don`t do one attack and close the game, that way you`ll never progress...

This is a stupid complaint, the purpose of CoC is grabbing loot by raiding players and then upgrading your own base. So welcome to Clash Of Clans.

I raid people 30-40 levels below all the time if they got tons of loot! Actually, I raid just about anybody who has tons of loot. Welcome to Clash of Clans!

I am TH9 working on lavas and I am 40 lvls above many Th10s. Does this mean I shouldn't raid them????

1200 cups is low for th8 in my opinion, I farmed in gold 2-3 at town hall 8. I think he is maybe too low, I think his playing style of attack log off attack log off may be the issue.

True, but do you think its fair for a level 100ish to attack a level 60ish player?

A few points:

• Level means nothing in this game.
• Higher Townhalls face a loot penalty when raiding lower. As a TH8, you can effectively be raided by TH9's and lower. This is a great reason to not rush your town hall.
• Every single person in the game gets raided, and loses loot.
• The trick is to raid more than you lose.
• Lowering trophies often helps too, as does spending more of your loot before you log off. As others have mentioned, when saving up it is best to raid in sessions (rather than logging off between attacks).
• Always keep your town hall well outside your base, completely undefended, and surround it with decorations so snipers see it is not a trap.
