Hi, Im a TH8 pushing trophies. I use balloonion but it takes a long time to train. I was thinking to use barch because its quicker. So I did 2 barch raids and completely failed. Both raids were 49%. i dont have much experience raiding TH9's and 10's but thats what crystal is filled with. So im asking how many buildings are needed for 49%?

I don't think that's the right question and answer you're looking for... Just gotta find bases with lots of buildings unprotected and watch out for xbows, they're a pain to deal with.
about 150 I'd say, having hero(es) also help a lot to get the last few percentage. Also choice of spells will change the amount of troops needed.
Tbh when you are barching to push you might as well wait for the full army as it doesn't take long and it is probably not worth the risk of losing a battle.

throw in a couple giants and WBs and you'll get 50% if you pick your bases right pretty easy. training time goes up to 15-20 minutes total depending on how many giants and WB you throw in there. but it definitely helps vs higher THs.

Always save a few archers so you can pick off a couple of extra outside building for that 50%
I usually don't count, but I make sure that all mines/collectors, camps, huts, spell, baracks, dark baracks and lab are out. Bringing your hero, cc troops and lightning spells are sure 50% in this scenario.
Bring wallbreaker I also pushing atm with barch from 1100 to 1600 in one day
