Heroes or Defence???

Since heroes take so long I would recommend you get started on them immediately. Go up to crystal and upgrade a hero whenever you have a free builder and enough dark elixir to upgrade either one of them. Work on your defenses with your other builders or when you don't have enough dark elixir to start the next upgrade on either hero. Plan to stay TH9 until you max both your heroes and all your buildings.

Put your TH out and untrapped and most of the time you will be quickly snipped without any loss of resources. Sometimes you will be 3-starred but that is just the trade off. Try to spend as many of your resources as you can before you log out so there is not much to take.

I'm a serious farmer, so I would recommend you enjoy attacking lower levels. hehe. There is so much that needs upgrading.

Start farmin ! Worry about that queen when you have at least maxed splash defense!

I definitely would not recommend a TH9 try to farm in bronze league!

While you will be basically untouchable on defense in Bronze, there is no way you will ever be able to farm a decent amount of loot down there.

Move up to at least Gold 2.

actually its a good idea to farm in bronze... you rely on collectors and revenges, and the occasional hard base you come up against.
