Its not like people use barbs or archers other than for clearing cc or a couple buildings.
High end raids involve high tier troops only
If you want to talk about a redundant troop then it has to be the healer, I dont remember the last time i saw one.

gobs could run faster than a bomb could explode. It could trigger some bombs/giant bombs.
Gobs could outrun a mortar. Perfect for distracting the mortar when 49%




And last but not least, the best of level 6 goblins, 3 STARRING A BASE WITH ALL OF THEM. ( with king and queen ofcourse )

Here you go. Although it's a premature TH9 with TH 7 defenses, it's still nice to watch them troll.
