where have you heard this? the only way to hack the game would be through apples systems, which are obviously top notch

There is a few videos floating around which show people playing with edited files. They can make it look like that they have a lot of gems or gold, but as soon as they connect to the server the server resets their village and amounts to last known state.
The reason why these people make these videos is not because they want to share their hack with you, but because they want to take advantage of you. Most of these require you to fill a survey before you can download it. These people got money from you filling these surveys. And even if you manage to download something, it is most likely a virus which compromises your computer. I'd storngly recommend against you even trying these files.

The videos you see are all fake, they play around with the files but since the game syncs it's useless. The only thing that was for real was the Elixir glitch which they fixed, I think they should of left it because it gave the players more of an incentive in playing. The build times of the troops is exaggerated and I hope that they shorten the time involved.
there is but the download is heavily surveyed and it costs money to do the surveyes and I'm pretty sure the hack either doesn't work and\or costs money too.

Its these types of posts that we need the ability to search and attack players in game. He's prob dumb enough to sign up on this forum with his In game username and post a hack link.
