this guy is kinda before mt time but from what i have read he didnt do it legitimately. yes he has achieved alot but not through the methods you and i use. he exposed every loop hole imaginable. so to say he is a true champion is not exactly how i would put it.
if a 100m runner took some enhancing drugs before a race and won the gold medal would you really consider him the winner? i think not!

Yao technically never left. His account was moved onto another person when he got a job at a company that owns a game similar to Clash of Clans.
There are better clashers in my clan.
Read the NY Times profile about him...hardly the picture of a RL "winner".
How is he not a winner? As a direct result of being the top player of CoC, He got out of an IT job he despised and moved to London to work for a game company as a marketing specialist. He's no longer a slave to trying to be a top player in CoC and is now a minor celebrity as the guy who came out on top. That's a bigger winner than any of those top players right now who waste hours vegetating in front of an iPad investing hours upon hours on something completely useless with nothing better to show than a $5000 credit card bill. Yao could have also ended up as one of these inane losers but he didn't. He quit as the top player and immeadiately took advantage of real life opportunities. Real life > iPhone game. Don't be jealous, he won.

Meh, I don't see being a fanboy as a positive attribute at all. I could care less about any one single player who's not even in my clan and therefore has absolutely no affect upon me or my game.
There are so many contradictory statements in this paragraph I don't even know where to begin. You say the top players are losers because they spend more and spend hours playing...George Yao did it to an extreme greater than the others and yet he is somehow a winner.
Ya, he's a winner because he quit the game...
Tallest dwarf is a better description.

- Although it helps, you do not have to use gems to get to the top.
- There is no way you can look at the top players and tell if they are, or are not using bots.

- Where did you get the idea that he is now working for Super Cell?
- Greatest in-game and in real life? Seriously? The game has changed a lot since he was at the top, and many of the exploits he used to get there and stay there have been removed. He may have been the top-ranked player at one time, but that doesn't mean he is better than those who are there now. He sacrificed money, sleep, and time for this game. Does that make him the best, or simply the most active? Why are you such a fan boy? He is a regular person, just like any of us. He may be a good clasher, but he certainly is no super hero.
- Pointing these things out does not make a person ignorant or jealous, but ironically, your post may lead some people to conclude those things about you.

i really don't think you understand what im getting at. You getting to lvl 136 unfortunately was a complete waste of time. Why? Because it means nothing. Let me repeat. It really really means nothing. This game serves NO PURPOSE than minor amusement. Let me repeat, this game is a complete waste of time. It's waste of time for you, waste of time for me, and it was a waste of time for Yao. It's a waste of time for Everyone playing it. BUT.. Yao, was the only one to eventually turn it into something that WAS NOT a waste of time by turning it into a real life job oppurtunity. Do you understand now?
