Lightning spells against resource storages.

I would like to make a suggestion to limit the damage caused by lightning spells to only to none resource storage type buildings. Lightning spells are being use cowardly for example to steal dark elixir which is by far the hardest resource to acquire and there is zero defense against this. I have lost up to 1500 dark elixir to someone dropping 3 lighting spells on my storage and then ending the battle. Thanks for everyone's support.

Sorry this would not work i promise a lot of people on these forums would have used lightning on defenses to get the barb king by lightning defenses and would most probably impact the surrounding effect of other things, but on another thread someone talked about the ability for Tesla to absorb lightning would be a great idea but wouldn't be overly powerful that it completely stops the lightning

There should be a consumable 1x1defense object that protects a 1 square radius around it from lightning. Using 4 of these you could surround a dark elix storage with a lightning shield. Like bombs it would be consumed if triggered

I prefer this cause it's unlogical if HIDDEN tesla is used as anti-lightning, it's hidden.
Except the tesla came out when lightning spell is used nearby.

I don't think supercell would make any buildings to STOP the lightning spells..that is why they are there..anyways, the answer to ppl stealing ur dark elixir is normally try to revenge them if it allows you to and steal ur dark elixir back..

And I do. Problem is usually they only have 2500 total dark elixir and the max I can get back is 50 or so when I lost like 700! How's that fair?
i have no prob with someone leveling my base and taking the resources althought so far no one has been able to, but this drop lighting on dark elixr storage and running HAS to stop!

I am sorry, I did not know lightning on resource buildings was a bad thing. I got my Barbarian King in 3 days by using this lightning spell.

Your sarcasm will vanish when you reach the point when you need to save 60000+ for an upgrade and your both drills produce 4800 DE in 24 h. but with every attack with 4 lighting spells you loss 1500+ DE, and in 24h you get a few of them and instead of increasing your DE you just stuck at a point where you are a perfect target for lighting spells.

I do use the lightning tactic and already upgraded my barb to level 5 (I'm th 7), the most I got with 3 level 4 lightning is around 1200 de. (If you sa y you get attacked by 4 lightning spells I assume they are th8)

When you do the math, I am able to get 8k+ de when I go online (without pumps). So if ever I'll lose 3k to 4k de on lightning or raid, I will still have increased my de by 4k not accounting if I have pumps. Not bad at all

the tactic I use for that is to have a lot of gold in my storage so that higher level players will see me as a good raid and that ill most likely get raided and have a free shield.

In the end I see using lightning spells to take down two mortars is more effective since you have a higher chance to get all the de available and not just a portion of it.

and remember, if they could do that to you, you could always find a perfect target where you can do that too to gain what you've lost with the same spell and without expending troops.

I dont like it when people so that to me but.....i do it all the time....but i dont drop spells and surrender usually i will full out raid them......
