Mitigating DE Zapping - Why not ruled out?

I got zapped twice today in M3, lost about 3k or so to two TH10s with 5 lightning spells. They just TH snipe me and ZAP!x5 lol. I say abolish lightning spells on DE storages and add a drill to th7 and allow it to go to lvl3, th8 drill to lvl6. Seems fair no?

It should be ruled out... but would it actually help? It could be just like the idea of trading or donating resources - ruled out but people still ask for it.

No. The game balance is just fine, as is. I maxed out my BK and dark troops at TH7, and there is no reason that others can't do the same.

As a Maxed TH10 (Defenses), Its funny to see that you did only 10 levels of BK since TH7 (thats more than a year ... lol)
I hope you dont get employed by SC as advisory for game balance.

As a anti-zapper, I hate zappers obviously.
I lose about 6-10k de every day to zaps.
Normally c2 above used to be zap free zone, but off-late even m3 is not excused.

Dont tell me to put TH inside or outside, or going up or down in cups, keep those wisdom to yourself.

I think its is pretty foolish when a TH10 does 5 zaps taking 2k+ de. Idiots will remain idiots, i guess.
At times ppl with 7mil+ HH zap me, i feel pity on them.

SC should do something about it, no Excuse to put it in ruled out.
Best Solution would be to reduce the costs of Hero Upgrades. I will happily put De storage outside.

Appreciate you guys coming and and posting, but I'd like to keep this thread focused on why it should or shouldn't be ruled out, not on if something should be done about zapping itself.

Steve publicly stated that it was ruled out over a month ago. The thread was simply ignored and buried under a pile of new "end zapping" requests.

In essence, zapping is supposed to be irritating. All of the complaining confirms that it is working. SC is doing nothing about it because it is something they have right and it is working properly.

You're right that some people wouldn't stop asking for it, but there'd be a clear, quick response to the thread.
"ruled out, read the stickies", then nobody continues the post, and it eventually gets off the list of new posts. Now there's page after page of conversation about a topic that obviously isn't going to be changed.
