Because when people are barching they don't need spells, that's why they just train zaps and use them whenever someone has good de. Its just a bonus for them.
The rest of you need to stop trolling, he wasn't whining, it looks like he was simply asking the rationale behind it.

It happens. He was lazy and saw easy dark elixir.

Gold is where you see a lot of lazy farmers. I find being in Crystal more beneficial in both farming for good loot, especially DE, as well as the best place to maintain my loot. A lot of TH snipers trying to push through Crystal 3 and I don't get attacked much here around 2100-2300.

Probably because he wanted the DE.

And you made it easy for him by leaving your town hall unprotected so you could get a free shield. You gave him easy cups, so all he had to do was take your town hall and then zap your DE.

If you want to avoid getting zapped, protect your town hall. And if you really care about DE, you'll move up in leagues where DE is more abundant, and people care enough about trophies that they won't zap and leave if you have your town hall protected.
