My clanmate just got th9 few days ago. And he has already lvl 6 barb and archer. He is upgrading balloons right now. How does he get elixir so fast? Is he gemming? Im a new th9 too and felt competitive and jealous but im f2p haha. Cheers anyways.

Does it really matter?
If it does matter that much, compare achievements, such as gold grab & elixir escapade.
That will give you an indicator of how much was farmed.
Yeah, does it even matter if he (or she, gender equality) gemmed?
Check the achievements first.

If it is about elixsir, I get normal 6 - 8 million per day of both type and maybe more. You can get as much as spend time on the game. Didn't buy a single gem since I started I only rely on farming. So your friend I think is good farmer

He might be a good farmer but I reckon they might have gemmed build time for the barbs, archers and possible laboratory. if they only got to TH9 a few days back. It takes 25 days to build lab and research archers and barbs, It can be a good move gemming build time in certain spots. I gemmed building time on my AQ twice so far, because my DE was maxed at 200K

If he got it only a few days ago and already has level 6 troops than of course he gemmed! Doesn't matter though, keep your money!
