Back then, all spells used gold to make instead of elixir, it cost 25,000 gold, and took a day and one hour to make

Yeah last year was the Santa's Strike, some players were diligent enough to litter their bases with presents from it. Each one gave a bit of elixir; can't remember how much.
And of course the Xmas trees, remove for 25k to get 75k gold. Only took me about 4 weeks to get my first one last year. Still have it today...got knows because it's ugly. But I took so long to get it so kept it, for now anyway.
And EVERYTHING was up for 1 gem boost which was really nice.
There have been some nice big updates in Christmas.
Hope we get to see mastermind's quests this time...

Loot was nerfed in the last xmas update so don't expect this BIG update to be good.
