Advice needed for a TH8
Hy guys
I need some advice, and want to know what trophy range is the best for myself, a TH8, to farm in?
Also does it matter which server I'm on? Do certain servers provide better loot in certain trophy ranges?

I'm not sure about other servers, I've only played on the American server as I'm in California and haven't attempted to join any other servers, but for raiding gold and elixir, I've been consistently raiding easily a few million a day or more depending on how much time I have in the 1100-1350 trophy range, from silver 1 through gold 3. I generally don't have to search long to find a base with a minimum of 150K combined resources (let's say 100K gold and 50k elix or the other way around, minimum). Fairly frequently, I find bases with 200K gold/200k elix +.
If you are trying to raid for dark elixir, climbing up into gold 1 and even into crystal 3 will yield you a lot more bases with more DE. The bases obviously get a bit more challenging to attack generally, but climbing up the trophy ladder, that goes without saying.

Yes sir, most typically. I love barch.
However, the last few days I've been attacking many bases with a slightly more diverse composition of around 60 barbs, 85 archers, 39 goblins and I've been having 8 wall breakers to help break into the core (when necessary) to get to the storages more effectively.
The other night I gained a little over 3 million gold from a 2 hour session of all 4 barracks boosted, it was great!

I think the server myth was debunked a while ago by someone who had some computer gadgets showing your server doesn't change by changing languages. IMO I don't think it matters. Your farming range would be depend on your base strength and what your looking for. If its gold/elixir then maybe GIII/GII, but if its DE like what I'm after then I suggest G1 or Crystal III. I also try not to use any spells and I generally don't need to in this lower trophy range because most bases are simply easier to get the loot from without the need for spells and if I cant get all or most of the loot without using any wall breakers either then I'll save those as well, as they're expensive compared to barbs, arch and gobs.
If you don't use spells or wall breakers and you're able to pillage a few hundred thousand of each resource, you get rich so fast!
I'm just finishing upgrading my 3 air defenses to level 6 (I had them all upgrading at once so they'd all be done in 8 days instead of doing them individually over a 24 day period). 1 air d just finished so now I started upgrading all 3 of my level 4 teslas up to level 5 for another 7.5 mil. In 8 more days they'll all be ready to go up to level 6, maxed for TH 8!
I'm just working on walls as much as I can now too when a builder is free to help a brotha out with that.

I've done just shy of 850 battles in TH8 since I got here a couple days ago and I completely agree with the other poster.
Averaging ~3.5-4m combined every 2 hours on 3 boosted barracks (as 1 is upgrading), using barch and BK + spells when they are ready.
8 Wall Breakers
1/3 Barbs
2/3 Arch
Rarely attack bases with less than 200k combined, unless Nexting is betting boring, or I see a nice easy storage for minimal expense.
Sniping TH's as I come across them to balance out losses where 1 star is not possible or worth it.
Today's best so far was 500k raid
For DE I snipe to C3, and grab as much as I can while doing it. On the way back down to S1 I net a lot more though as I can be more selective on which bases have enough worth dropping cups for. Typically make around 10k per cycle.

I use archers and barbs and take out the inactive bases. Go in the usa server then drop to 1100-1300 trophies u should get 200k each raid in a short time
What do you guys mean by changing servers????? Is it really true that changing languages = changing servers???
