    My TH is outside and I sm farming, but people go for the DE with lightning spells and the TH with a few troops.

    I agree with you. Most people who lightning me are the low level people in TH6, 7, or 8, and when I want to revenge, either they have a ton of loot, but I can hardly get any because I'm TH10, or they just don't have a lot of loot. The only good time to revenge people that Low is when they have full collectors.

    Agreed. The only way to balance the spells, and now having to nerf them is being able to have lightning shields.

    You were talking about an 8 versus an 8 or a 9.

    My post talked about a 7 versus a 10 and how the lightning strikes favor the lower level player over the higher as the 7 can attack a 10, with the 10 having no way to mitigate or defend, and the 7 gets a loot bonus.

    The 7, on the other hand, is never worth attacking if your a 10 because of the loot penalties.

    So, again, lightning is unbalanced as it favors lower levels over higher. It shouldn't favor either.

    Literally every other thing in the game favors the higher TH. There's your balance.

    COC's goal is just the same. Steal all the shnutz if you can. It isn't discussed how you should do your stealing so yeah zapping is valid and will forever be.

    If it is let's say level 2 and it is hit by 3 lightning spells, the 2nd lightning spell would break it (and the shield would make a shattering glass noise) and then the 3rd lightning spell would work on that building. The shield would be invisible to the attacker just like any other trap, unless it is activated (with the lightning spell)
    When you are a low level town hall 7 wanting their barbarian king how do you expect them to quickly get their dark elixir.
    Even when people steal 1k+ dark elixir by zapping, a decent player should be able to easily get that back in 2-3 raids.
