New matchmaking and game difficulty

The difficulty of battles has swung far too much the other way. Those who say farming lower levels was useful are quite right and whereas in the past I have bought gems to move things on and top up my savings I will absolutely not be doing now as the game has clearly been altered in a way to make buying gems an absolute necessity rather than a nice to do.
you have spoilt what was a really fun game that I told everyone about.

Worst of it : they just don't give a F.

It's super simple and reasonable to justify anything if you keep ignoring the reasons why it shouldn't be done.

I m level 66,
-3 mortars 5,
-3 cannon 11, 1 cannon 10 going to 11,
-3 wizard towers 4 going to 5 now,
-3 archer towers 8, 1 level 7 going to 8 and 1 at level 7.
-2 tesla level 2, 2 other level 3
-3 air defense level 3

Exactly. It's simply not enough to withstand your trophy range. Unless you wanna compete with Gems. You're very close on the Gemmer's lounge and quite frankly, you can't expect more if you can't keep up with money. Either you keep spending or you lose. That's the gist of the game.

if they couldn't find someone at the level range within TH range
then find someone at a lower TH with same level range
then find someone at a higher TH with same level range
then find someone at a lower level with same TH range
then find someone at a higher level with same TH range
else unable to find village to attack

and then you compute how much you earn/lose based on the trophies you both have
its not impossible, you just need to add more conditions

or better yet add another attack button that bases its targets on levels than trophies make it like a skirmish, having the same levels with little trophy gain and higher trophy loss, and a ranking battle, with higher levels with high trophy gain/loss

see should be like this or something close to this, good idea it is possible to do this, and would be fair.

soooo this is my big issue - it's been discussed elsewhere in other threads....

The match balance is wrong as it's way to easy to win now:

It's possible to destroy the clan castle with all defenders with one santa spell - that is really bad
With the extra camp space it's much easier to overpower a base

i spent all gold on the next button, lv 7th, lots of loot last night, and none after this morning, maximum loot i can find is 50k each.... game sucks again...

pretty much turning this this game into farmville waiting for mines and collectors to do its thing investing everything before your shield runs out cycle with no point in attacking and raising trophies

I like the new matching... hasn't seemed to really effect how much gold I am able to get but I do find matches faster. I also feel like I'm not getting attacked as much so that's kinda nice...
