New matchmaking and game difficulty

Like I said before ...

Either rush for trophies or rush for resources. You can not have both. There is no free lunch (well it is, but buy a lot of gems). Drop down, its not hard, upgrade and go back up ...

What they did with the game in LONG run, you will all sooner or later get that light in the end of the tunnel ...


I don't know why some people see it already and others don't ... but I assume its our age (myself 29) that let us figure things out sooner that young ones (not saying I am old lol).

I disagree. In my opinion this new system is broken. Period. Where are you finding all these resources? I'd sure like it if you told me 'cause I sure haven't seen any. Before the update you could rush for trophies and resources.

Let me make it clear, I hate the new match making system. I am the leader of a well off clan (12k trophies) but the problem is, all my clan members all dropped to the 800 trophy range to counter this new match making system. Me, with 1800 trophies, and leader of a clan, is left stranded and in a dilemma, should I lower my trophies?

If this is a permanent system, I will lower my trophy count, not to find my "true trophy level" but instead to find low level people for resources. At 1800 trophies, with 580 gold for each new opponent, I am going bankrupt looking for people with good resources....

You know what... I have people raiding me for 10k gold because evryone has become so desperate. It is as if the whole game has slept into the Great Depression, and even gold from the mines are not able to compensate the losses.

Please Rauta, respond to this so I can know what to do: Is this a permanent system?

I am getting more and more depressed by this game...

Your rants mean nothing. Do you even read what you're saying? Wow. You are holding so dearly to your 1300 trophy because you THINK you worked hard for it. Before you call names, learn your facts. Learn your game. Adapt. Innovate instead of just whine all day that the game is hard for you when it just got better for the vast majority.

And if you think the whiners ere are the "vast majority" then you are ttally way over your head... Gie it a day or a week and read this reply and scratch your head with a smile...

Prior to this update you had some good views and opinions on things all to do with clash but I'm sorry pedro your views on this new update are so wrong if you cant tell that this update does not just favor ppl that spend lots of money on gems then you are really working for supercell,and can you please stop endorsing the update on all the threads one is enough,as you are the only person that is.

Nonsense! What is this babble? Natural trophy range? Before the update we fought tooth and nail for those trophies but now we should all just aim for mediocrity and find our natural trophy range! Oh boy! Sounds like so much fun! Hope you are detecting the sarcasm here. Seriously, where is the fun in that? Fighting for trophies was one of the best parts of the game. Now I am being handed trophies by higher lvl players dropping one troop and then surrendering. My trophies have skyrocketed today through no fault of my own. And I'm not happy about it. This update has drained the fun out of this game.

You say you haven't heard any complaints about the new update? Ha! Have you taken a look at the facebook page lately? Are you living in denial?

I totally agree. This new system favours the people below 500 trophies, AND the people who already have an established village(2000-3000) BUT TOTALLY HITS HARD on the middle group (700-1500 trophies). There has been so much uproar about this new matchmaking system, yet Supercell isn't responding..

They do not come out of the debris, it's the tenth time I'm saying this. Go look on the top players and look at the arrows going sky high like from 100th to the 40th position in just a few hours.

I would side with Jesse on this. There is no point on requesting troops from a clannie or even being in a clan if the troops in castle die with 1 HIT! Kindly increase the HP of the CC or make the santa gift damge less. I know that you guys might need extra income... But what about the people who will supply the demand to you on your products? Please make each day of playing CoC as enjoyable as possible, not so obvious of getting what the company needs during this holiday season.

Drop cups to some 500 count or lover, build up your village, and go sleep for 3 days and you will be back on your 1500 count.

I make 1000 cups over the night got damn ... When you will start to work IRL, you will also have to adopt. If you won't, competition will eat you alive. And those who adopts first, gets the most.

My concern is not that the matches are too hard or that I can't win etc. Tougher battles are a good thing, no one gets to the top easily. The matchups are in Fact great.

I keep seeing the same argument on here that if you can't get resources drop your trophys, upgrade your troops etc.

I farmed like a freakin pirate for the first few months I played, and have maxed out troops and am very happy with my defence.

But how are we meant to afford to retrain an army that costs upward of 60 K when around 2000 trophys it is near impossible to find a raid with more than 40K juice. You can rely on collectors to pump out a couple hundred K a day, but when the average search brings up around 3K available for 3 stars there are big issues. My whole clan are hurting from the lack of Elixer.


The issue here is not the difficulty of battles or the level matchups. There needs to be a big injection of Elixer available. If I can't raid it, obviously no one near my level has it.
