Here's my biggest thing;
I like the new match making but as it should be people can't/don't hoard resources because they can be farmed.
One benefit is when I am looking to increase my trophies I will not have to do it 3 trophies an attack.
With that said some thing needs to be added to cover the expense of the attacks; personally I don't mind spending money on gems but not to just attack people. That's not practical.
If there was an added cap to the resources say 50k guaranteed per attack; plus what ever resources they player may have.
Example:
Find a match;
25k elixer
25k gold
System adds 50k each
Loot now becomes
75k each
Same scenario but with clause
Find a match
55k elixer
55k gold
System does not add in any because we're over the 50k cap
55k elixer
55k gold
Available
Either that or double the pumps/mines so that they can pay for the cost of an attack.obviously with out the boost because even with it my troops are building faster than the gold needed to find an attack.
Earlier i went broke looking for an attack and didn't find one and ended up losing resources.
I am a fan of finding that natural trophy level but I can't because I can't attack. I am currently bouncing around 1800 trophies and seeing very little profit.
So my main delema is covering cost of attacks. I get that upgrading will be harder and finding those villas that someone is hoarding is harder. Though unfortunately I will not find any because of the returns.

Well this is obviously not working I have just gained 64 trophies from 2 players level 64 and 70 who both placed 1 troop and quit so they lower their trophy count and attack better targets with lower trophy counts.
i am now back into the position of matches where my trophy levels too high and can't possibly fight them, it's broke updates screwed match system.
if this continues players are going to quit constantly
To make your playing experience better right now, it might benefit you to employ the same tactics as those dropping one troop and quitting to lower your trophy count now. If you don't want to do that, you can always wait it out. My guess is that you won't have to in a few weeks as most everyone would've found their natural range. It's as simple as that.

why would you try to balance a game based on trophy counts? They are just an arbitrary measure of success that will always balance themselves anyway based on the parameters of the game.
While I appreciate what the devs tried to do, sadly the new update has, at least for the moment, crippled the in game economy. Currently it's not affordable to sustain attacking. The resources you spend building an army and searching for a target outweigh the cost of what you can attain from attacking
I thought the whole problem with match making was :
1) that you got matched with players ranking way out of your league.. Up or down.
2) that lots of strong players dropped in trophys on purpose to loot much easier players.
So on the first one, i'm now getting matched with ONLY players that are way out of my league.. Simply because i'm matched with only players 20-30 levels above me, with no chance in hell to beat them in fight..
- Maybe i have just been too good at the game, but should i be punished now for playing better than others at my level ?
Now on the second one.. You tell that solution is to drop in trophys, Right ?
- So now if i drop in trophys i'll be just part of the problem wont i, causs now i'll be attacking the easy villages for getting easy loot.. So how does this solve the problem with high players attacking only weak players.. I Can only see that this makes it worse, with much more players doping trophys on purpose ?
Last in regards to this.. Youve narroved match making, so we now can winn more trophys each fight, instead just 1-3 trophys each time... But if we have to drop in trophys anyways to get those fights, then whats the point ?
I mean, if i need to drop 2-400 trophies, then i dont want to win more trophys in fights because it will not make any sence, as i will just have to loose them again anyways, on purpose, so i can stay and loot the low players..
- with no reason left to earn trophys, since you actually get penalised for having too manny now, please tell me then the reason to play ?
